    Ferrets are cute animals that were domesticated long ago. They are naturally curious creatures and love to go into tunnel-like areas. Their behavior generally imitate that of a kitten. Like cats they are carnivores, but are actually even more so. Ferrets diet need to be high in protein (more so than cat food), so specially formulated food for ferrets are highly recommended. And also like cats ferrets can be litter trained. If you are thinking about getting ferrets as pets consider getting two so they can keep each other company. With proper care your ferrets can live between 7 to 10 years.
