LA private investigator Elvis Cole searches for the key to his own past in this 10th installment in the series starring the so-called World`s Greatest Detective. A man with no ID, dying of a gunshot wound in an alley, tells the cop who finds him that he`s Elvis Cole`s father. Elvis can`t verify this because he never knew the man who impregnated his mentally ill mother, but he commences on a postmortem investigation, hoping to Ferret out the man`s identity and discover if what he said is true.
